The 2023 Scootering World Championships in Madrid will be the first official world ranking event.
Riders are awarded ranking points based on their final result at various competitions globally, and their accumulated tally will determine their world ranking position. There are three tiers of events at which riders can earn official world ranking points.
These, in order, are:

World Championships
-
Pro Tour events
-
Sanctioned events.

The world ranking system will operate on an 18-month basis, including all eligible events from June 2023 to December 2024, and will become the basis for pre-seeding athletes for future events.
